This "highlights" feature enables users to identify peak moments without missing critical content. The visualization appears primarily on videos with substantial viewership that have been available for extended periods.

Streamlined Comment Interface

A redesigned commenting system allows users to browse and compose comments while scrolling through the feed. Rather than requiring dedicated navigation, comments become accessible during normal feed interaction, enhancing content discussion accessibility.

Access and Testing

These features are available for limited beta testing at YouTube.com/new, with access restricted to YouTube Premium subscribers during the trial period. Users can test one feature at a time, and all offerings remain subject to potential modification before wider release.
